At 10:30 AM every Sunday, Southside and its friends meet to remember God's love and praise Him for it. There are five basic ingredients in the service. First, praise through congregational singing of contemporary choruses and traditional hymns. Next, everyone is invited to remember Christ's death and resurrection and all they mean as we partake of the Lord's Supper. Third, prayers of request and praise are offered for the members and friends. Fourth, an opportunity for the fellowship of sharing in the work is in the offering. The final ingredient is the encouragement from the Word of God, the Bible, is delivered in such a manner as to touch hearts in today's world. To make this time special takes a great number of people. That means there are many opportunities to share your love for the Lord.  |
